The North Dakota Women's Health Research Conference 2008 to be held April 17, 2008, provides a forum to connect researchers throughout the state whose research relates to women’s health. The conference is an excellent venue for researchers to network and to explore possible coordination and collaboration of their research interests. A statewide research agenda was instituted at last year’s conference and will progress this year, continuing the momentum North Dakota researchers began in spring 2007. We are fortunate once again to be able to hold our 2008 conference at the remarkable UND Wellness Center. Researchers are invited to display their recent work via poster presentations in the atrium of the Wellness Center. A conference plenary presentation will be followed by self-selected breakout sessions, discussion of suggested research questions, and a plenary conclusion to summarize group findings. Dr. Judith Kaur, internationally recognized Mayo Clinic oncologist, will present the keynote address. Pre-registration is required. We look forward to the opportunity of once again engaging women’s health researchers at our second annual North Dakota Women's Health Research Conference.
