The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences offers a small, personalized residency in Internal Medicine. We pride ourselves on being able to offer a solid, community-based training program, with enough flexibility to meet your individual needs. Our program, our staff, and our hospital are committed to a quality educational experience, where each resident's involvement and experiences assure close relationships with peers as well as extensive interaction with faculty. We also provide competitive benefits, so our residents can focus on their education, not their pocketbooks.
We emphasize evidence-based education, as reflected in our morning report, noon conferences, journal clubs, and patient care encounters. We further emphasize academic endeavors that include clinical research as well as basic research. Our residents have enjoyed tremendous success presenting abstracts at national meetings and publishing in peer-reviewed journals; and our graduates can be found practicing medicine throughout the country.
