The University of North Dakota Physician Assistant Program is recruiting for a full-time certified Physician Assistant faculty position in the Department of Family & Community Medicine in the School of Medicine & Health Sciences.

The UND PA Program is a 37 year-old, fully accredited program offering a masters degree.

Responsibilities Include:

ŸStudent Advising ŸTeaching ŸCurriculum development and evaluation

ŸClinical site-visiting Ÿ Clinical practice time allowed and encouraged

Minimum Qualifications:

Ÿ NCCPA certification Ÿ Strong communication skills Ÿ Master’s degree in related field

Ÿ 3 years primary health care experience Ÿ Minimum 2 years teaching experience preferred

ŸWillingness to pursue a doctorate degree Ÿ Ability to work in a team environment

We currently have opportunities in WI and MN.

The opportunity in Minnesota is available now, however, they are willing to wait in need be and it will be for primary care services with FPs and IM physicians. The location is in NW Minnesota not too far from Fargo, ND. The clinic is attached to the hospital. There are currently over 35 partners in the group. We are also recruiting physicians for general surgery, urology, FP w/o OB, internal medicine, and orthopedic surgery.

Compensation will be in the $70,000 range and will be dependent on experience and training. There will also be some form of an incentive bonus program for those who wish to really hit it. In addition there will be the full compliment of benefits, relocation and malpractice coverage. A person could live in Fargo/Moorhead and commute if they had to however it would be best to live in town.  

There are over 1,000 lakes in the country. Most of the providers have lake homes or have a "summer home" and a home in town. It is a recreational hotspot in summer for vacations, fishing, boating,etc and in the fall hunting and winter snowmobiling. Great schools, etc.

Wisconsin: Looking at NP and PA candidates. One opportunity is for someone with interest in ortho and the others are for primary care. Compensation will be dependent on training and experience. Relocation and the full range of benefits is available.

VA Medical Center, Fargo, ND seeks full time Physician Assistant for Oncology, Primary & Specialty Medicine Service Line.  Responsible for providing oncology services to inpatient and outpatient patients using a team approach.  Hours of duty are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Applicants must be a graduate of a certified Physician Assistant Training program, certified by National Commission on Physician Assistants (NCCPA), one year oncology experience and current BLS certification.  

Fargo VA Medical Center is a general medical, surgical and psychiatric hospital, research, and affiliated with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  University appointment and teaching opportunities are available if interested.
