April 2007
Congrats to the recently matched MS-IVs!!! UND students
continue to secure match positions at top-level programs
throughout the Midwest, and continue to branch out to the East
Coast this year.
Plans are in the works for more teleconferences with the SUNY
Upstate Medical University Dept. fo Emergency Medicine
(Syracuse, NY). Our next conference will likely occur in
Nov. 2007 with a focus on Toxicology.
The North Dakota Chapter of the American College of Emergency
Physicians (ACEP) recently met during their annual meeting at
the ND State EMS conference. A number of members have
indicated interest in mentoring the UND EMIG and providing their
time for lectures, etc. This provides an excellent
opportunity for UND students to gain exposure to EM-trained
physicians and good framework of networking opportunities
to use to our advantage.
