The mission of the Division of Research is to foster and support research, scholarly activity, and program development. The Division identifies the needs and opportunities of the department in the areas of education, curriculum, and faculty development. The Division provides direction and support to students, residents, and faculty in the design and completion of research. Finally, the Division identifies, supports, and develops external funding opportunities.
