Objectives of the Elective:

Preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care of surgical patients.

Exposure to general surgical experience.

Emergency room experience with the preceptor.
Instructional Activities:

Hands-on assistance during surgery and endoscopic procedures.

Case presentation with review of current literature.

Availability of gynecological, orthopaedic and urological surgical procedures
for observation and review.
