Objectives of the Electives:

Learning to perform and dictate a good history and physical.

History and physical critique.

Discussion of patient management problems.

Discussion of disease processes applicable to patients being seen.

Instruction in special procedures.
Standards of Performance (Outcomes) Indicating Attainment of Objectives:

Critique of the history and physicals.

General discussion of patient management.

Evaluation and instruction of outpatient problems.

Evaluation will be filled out by instructor at end of the rotations and
sent to the assistant dean for the appropriate campus.
Criteria for Grading:
Must have a satisfactory rating or above on six of seven clinical competencies
listed on the fourth year student clinical performance evaluation.
