Colin S.J. MacColl, MD, FRCS(C), FACS


Clinical Associate Professor

Colin S.J. MacColl is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He received his M.D. from the University of Saskatchewan and completed his internship at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Calgary and also completed a Laparoscopic General Surgery Fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.

Dr. MacColl joined the faculty of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in 2000 as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery and has been promoted to Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in 2005. He joined Altru Health System in August 1999. Dr. MacColl is Board Certified in General Surgery with special expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgery and breast disease.
