Wallace K. Kurihara, M.D.


Clinical Associate Professor

Wallace K. Kurihara is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He received his MD from the Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, Oregon. He did his General Surgery Residency at the Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii and a Vascular Fellowship at St. Vincent Hospital & Medical Center, Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Kurihara joined the faculty of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in 2002 as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery and has been promoted to Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in 2005. He joined Altru Health System in 2001. Dr. Kurihara is Board Certified in General Surgery with expertise in vascular surgery.
