Kurt D. Lindquist, M.D., FACS


Clinical Professor of Surgery

Kurt D. Lindquist is a Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He received his MD from the Rush Medical College in Chicago, Ill and completed his General Surgery Residency at the Hennepin Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Lindquist completed a Vascular Fellowship at the Hope Heart Institute in Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Lindquist joined the faculty of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in June 1999 as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery and was promoted to Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in 2000 and promoted to Clinical Professor of Surgery in 2004. He joined the VA Medical Center in August 1998. Dr. Lindquist is Board Certified in General Surgery with expertise in vascular surgery and has extensive experience in rural surgery, particularly in Africa where he was a missionary surgeon for 10 years.
