What's New? (Announcements)
Because of scheduling (academic and clinical) differences among the students in this course, it is difficult to find a time-slot that everyone can meet. Therefore, almost all of the activities will take place through this medium (HTML and e-mail). Periodically, there'll be announcements over e-mail, WWW page, or a sign in the athletic training room. Pay attention to all of the postings.
If you miss the deadline for an assignment/test, your score would be zero. Make-up or extension must have a valid reason as determined by the principal instructor, and it has to be mutually agreed between the student and the principal instructor. The agreement must be reached before the deadline. The principal instructor may grant your assignment/test a score of zero if it is after deadline.
You must check this page and your mail.med e-mail account at least once a week for new announcements/changes.
This course requires a great deal of planning by each student because the class does not meet regularly and is based on completion of individual assignments. There's no penalty for starting your checklists and projects early. Plan ahead and good luck!
Distributed diskette contains an e-mail freeware (Eudora) and an HTML editor freeware. Further instructions on how to use the provided software are provided in "readme.txt" file on the diskette. Each software contains "help" inside the application.

This course is a pre-requisite for FMed413 (Senior year, Spring Semester). It means that you have to pass FMed 313 in order to be considered a senior in Athletic Training Program. So, please pass it.

Rules for giving incomplete

UND Policy: The mark "I", Incomplete, shall be assigned only to the student who has been in attendance and has done satisfactory work up to the time within four weeks of the close of the semester, including the examination period, and whose work is incomplete for reasons satisfactory to the instructor.

It is the student's obligation to work through the following channels to resolve problems before going to the Chairperson or Dean:

   Student --> Instructor --> Division Director --> Chairperson --> Dean

The student, NOT the instructor, has complete responsibility to initiate drop procedures for this course.

Usually in office from 7:00 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm (many days until 7:00 pm, occasionally after 10:00 pm, all-time record is 3:15 am), Monday through Friday, Weekends tend to be sporadic.
