Welcome to the North Dakota Physical Therapy Association!

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the North Dakota Physical Therapy Association is to advance the quality of physical therapy to meet the needs of society by representing and promoting the profession of physical therapy through education, advocacy, and service.

VISION STATEMENT


By 2010, physical therapists in North Dakota will be recognized and valued by the public as the practitioner of choice for the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of impairments and disabilities as related to health, movement, and function through enhanced knowledge, evidence-based practice, membership and participation in the North Dakota Physical Therapy Association.

Goals:

  • To be responsive to the needs and interests of NDPTA members and promote chapter membership
  • To be the primary resource for professional development, information, and education
  • To be acknowledged as the public policy advocate for the physical therapy profession and society by promoting quality, access, and utilization of physical therapy
  • To maintain fiscal stability and enhance financial resources to support NDPTA goals
  • To provide continuing education programs, quality assurance programs, and peer review programs that facilitate members' ability to provide high quality care efficiently and effectively in conjunction with the APTA
