This project is designed to promote collaborative parent/faculty teaching teams in pre-service training programs to
facilitate effective service provision to children with disabilities and their families. Parent/faculty teams serve as co-instructors
in training courses for students who, as professionals, will provide services to children with disabilities and their families. This project is sponsored by the Interagency Coordinating Council, the North Dakota Department of Human Services, and the
North Dakota Department of Public Instruction. Support is provided in the form of a stipend for parents who serve as co-instructors or guest lecturers. Training workshops for participants, networking with others, a library of teaching aids, texts, assessment instruments, and videos are also available.
