Any mail received for a
medicine.nodak.edu mail address may be either
delivered to a local mailbox on the Med School's
server, or forwarded to another address somewhere
else on the Internet.
Any time you try to forward mail from one
address to another (for example medicine to U-mail),
make sure you don't inadvertently set up
a mail loop where the mail will bounce back
and forth between two machines because they
both think that mail should be forwarded
to the other.

Before you setup a forward, make sure you
know how the destination will handle your messages,
otherwise you could lose mail.
To start, log into the web-based e-mail at http://medicine.nodak.edu
Once in, click on Options in
the top menubar

In the Options page, click on the link to Mail
Delivery

In the Mail Delivery page, specify
where you want new mail to go, and click the Save
Options button to save your selection.

If you're successful, you'll see a thumbs-up
icon

Be sure to logout of IMP when you're finished.
