In the General tab, the default name of the account is probaby cyrus.undsmhs.net, you'll probably want to change it to something more descriptive, like your e-mail address.

Changing the account name

In the Servers tab, you must check My server requires authentication.

Enabling outgoing authentication

In the Advanced tab, you'll need to check both boxes for This server requires a secure connection (SSL)

IMPORTANT! after checking the box for SMTP, you'll should change the port from the default of 25 to 465. If you don't do this, it'll sort of work, but have odd problems from time to time.

The screenshot below shows an IMAP setup, which should show the incoming mail port ast being 993. If you're doing POP3, the port number should be 995

If you're doing IMAP, there's an IMAP tab in which you may want to change the name for the Sent Items path to just Sent, which matches how the web-based e-mail works.

At this point you should be finished with the account properties, click OK
