The
Deeded Body Program at the University of North Dakota
School of Medicine & Health Sciences has been
serving the people of North Dakota and its medical
school for more than half a century. It was designed
to serve as an education resource for faculty, medical
students, and residents as well as graduate, allied
health and other undergraduate students.
It
is because of the generosity of donors who have made
a conscious decision to begin or continue their teaching
career after their death that we are able to continue
our long standing tradition of providing excellence
in medical education, as well as the highest regard
for humanity and mankind. Our Program strives to meet
the highest standards regarding anatomical donation
as determined by the North
Dakota Uniform Anatomical Gift Act.
For
the information of all prospective donors, we’ve
compiled a document that provides Answers to Frequently
Asked Questions regarding anatomical
donors. However, it is not possible to provide a truly
comprehensive list, which is why we welcome your questions
at any time. In addition, we have
Forms available for download
should you desire to be enrolled in our Deeded Body
Program.
Please
contact us if there are further questions about our
Program.
