-
01/04–present Adjunct Assistant Professor- Department
of Communication Sciences & Disorders, College of
Arts & Science, University of North Dakota
Teaching:
My responsibilities include directing the gross human anatomy program and teaching gross human anatomy and neuroscience in the patient centered learning curriculum (year 1) in our School of Medicine & Health Sciences. I also teach neuroscience, gross human anatomy and biostatistics in our graduate program. Administratively, I am the Director of the Deeded Body Program at the UND School of Medicine &Health Sciences.
Research
Interests:
Our
lab is interested in the neurochemistry and synaptology
of spinal cord and brainstem neurons and how disease processes
or injury produce changes in these characteristics. Techniques
employed in our lab include immunohistochemistry, enzyme
histochemistry, image analysis, tract-tracing and small
animal neurosurgery.
